Laasida - Moroccan Eid Breakfast



Ingredients


1 box (10 oz) of plain couscous
6 cups of water
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of butter
Directions


Add the water and couscous in a cooking pan and bring to boil on medium heat.
When the water starts boiling, add the salt and butter.
Keep cooking Laasida for 30-40 minutes on low heat while stirring from time to time. Laasida will have a consistency a little less thick than mashed potato.
Serve Laasida immediately with butter and honey to taste.
